Our Siddhi Vinayagar Temple at Krishna Nagar, Pammal, the construction was started during 1956 and ‘Prana Pratishta of lord Siddhi Vinayaga’ was done on 3rd Sep 1962. The temple has been well managed and maintained by the legally registered trust by name “Asthiga Samajam Trust” for more than 6.5 decades. The temple became a center not only for performing Pooja activities, but it also acts as a ‘Social and Spiritual Services platform’ for the betterment of the society.
A bouquet of Spiritual, Ritual, Social and Cultural activities have been planned, organised and performed well from time to time.
The “Asthiga Samajam Trust” is the legal entity managing the temple's day-to-day activities and overall governance through a dedicated team of individuals and regular devotees.

Where are we now
Since the temple is situated at the main arterial road of “Pallavaram and Anakaputhur”, which is experiencing increased traffic congestion during peak hours of the morning and evening, the state Govt has decided to widen the road on both sides. Consequently, the land on which the temple is built is being impacted due to the road expansion, with two-thirds of the land set to be acquired by the Govt for the proposed expansion program. There is thus a compelling need to re-locate the temple to a more appropriate place.
Accordingly, a new site has been identified near the existing temple for the “Punar Nirman” of the temple. The plan includes relocating all the deities and constructing proper ‘Sannithies, Viman, and Dwar mandapa’ as per Shipa-aghama Shastras.
The Trust has procured the required land at No.9, Maruthi Street, Krishna Nagar, Pammal by the blessings of Siddhi Vinayagar. Initial activities such as the Bhoomi pooja were performed in August 2023. We have also obtained a “No Objection Certificate” and plan approvals from the respective Govt authorities for the construction of the Temple.

Current Scenario
The eminent professionals from the domains of ‘Shilapa-Agama Shastra’, Geological and Structural engineering have been engaged to assess, estimate and construct the temple at the proposed site.
2025February
Proposed Plan
The temple would be constructed using ‘Black Granite’ which has been procured from Salem. The stone procured is very ideal for the construction of the temple and to create a permanent structure that will last for decades and centuries.
